About the role
Decagon is a leading conversational AI platform that enables major enterprise brands to deliver personalized customer experiences through intelligent agents. The company powers interactions across voice, chat, email, SMS and other channels for customers like Avis Budget Group, Block's Cash App and Square, Chime, Oura Health, and Hunter Douglas. Backed by top-tier investors including a16z, Accel, and Bain Capital Ventures, Decagon is transforming how companies think about customer engagement—moving beyond traditional support models toward faster resolutions and richer relationships powered by AI.
The conversational AI space has experienced explosive growth as large language models have matured, and the market for AI hiring has surged accordingly. Today's most successful AI deployments require ongoing refinement and expert guidance throughout their lifecycle, not a "set and forget" approach. This reality has created strong demand for professionals who can bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI capabilities and real-world user experience requirements.
In this role on Decagon's Customer Team, you'll design and refine AI conversation experiences that serve enterprise customers worldwide. You'll work across voice, chat, SMS, and email channels to ensure interactions feel natural, appropriate, and effective.
