About the role

Important: This is a contract/part-time role: 10-20 hrs/week - rate $40-50/hr

NOPE is an AI safety company with a unique goal; we do not concern ourselves with bio or cyber-risks or other Hollywood-ized alignment fantasies. We are concerned instead with the massive proliferation of relationships between humans and AI and how this affects our wellbeing and societal fabrics. Billions of conversations between people and AI are accumulating into relationships. This ranges children talking to toys, adults with AI companions, or elderly people engaging with healthcare assistants. We measure real conversations and relationships, and the trajectories of risks involved, and publish what we find, so platforms (and society) can decide when and how to act. We build ML models, track incidents, analyze new regulations, and run evaluations constantly on both raw LLMs and deployed AI. …

Pay, location & hours

$90K–150K / year. Fully remote, open to applicants in any country.
