The Role

Coinbase is looking for a Principal Recruiter to join the Core Recruiting team within People Success. You'll own hiring across multiple business functions including G&A, Customer Experience, EAA and IT, taking full responsibility for recruitment lifecycle management across your assigned portfolio. Depending on business needs, you may also contribute to product group hiring, requiring flexibility across different talent markets and skill sets.

What you'll do

• Manage the complete recruitment cycle from initial role intake through candidate closure for senior-level, complex searches within your Core portfolio

• Build robust candidate pipelines through direct sourcing and competitive market research, maintaining sufficient pipeline depth and quality to sustain hiring momentum

• Collaborate with senior leadership across client groups to translate business talent needs into targeted search strategies and deliver strong candidate and interviewer experiences

• Leverage pipeline analytics and data integrity practices to identify hiring bottlenecks, measure recruiting efficiency, and recommend strategic improvements

• Design and launch recruiting process improvements and pilot programs that enable the team to expand impact across multiple geographic markets

What you'll bring

• Eight or more years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience in technology companies or comparable high-growth environments, with a proven track record closing competitive candidates in G&A and technical functions

• Demonstrated experience building and scaling recruiting processes across global markets

• Comprehensive knowledge of the entire candidate journey including talent mapping, sourcing, interviewing and offer closure

• Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate recruiting metrics into strategic insights for leadership stakeholders

• Responsible use of generative AI tools while maintaining human oversight to produce business-ready work and drive measurable gains in efficiency, cost and quality
