Investment & Trading Operations associate ( Multi-asset exposure)

As an Investment and Trading Operations Associate, you will join Tether's Finance team to manage the day-to-day operations of a multi-asset investment and treasury platform. This full-time remote role requires a highly organized professional who can execute complex financial workflows while maintaining precision in a fast-moving environment.

What you'll do

• Manage trade confirmations, settlements, and lifecycle events across multiple asset classes and blockchain networks.
• Oversee wallet, custodian, and digital asset operational processes on behalf of the treasury function.
• Perform daily booking and reconciliation of securities positions, cash balances, and profit-and-loss calculations across internal systems.
• Investigate and resolve trade breaks, settlement discrepancies, and operational issues in collaboration with counterparties and custodians.
• Build and maintain automated workflows, internal tools, and operational processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and support audit requests with required documentation.
• Monitor operational controls related to treasury, trading, and digital asset activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Create technical documentation, procedures, and user guides for operational processes.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Five or more years of operations experience, ideally within credit hedge funds or asset management firms.
• Strong proficiency in Excel with VBA or Python for process automation and data analysis.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of trade lifecycles, settlement mechanics, and reconciliation processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital assets or the blockchain ecosystem.
• Proficiency in the Enfusion portfolio management system.
