Tether is seeking an Expansion Manager to lead market entry and growth initiatives in Ivory Coast and the broader Francophone region.

What you'll do
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across Ivory Coast and Francophone markets, including integrations of USDT into payment infrastructure and strategic partnerships with local banks, fintechs, and large corporations
- Design and implement go-to-market strategies tailored to regional conditions, then monitor and optimize performance through KPI tracking and data analysis
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and competitive positioning, including analysis of USDT and fiat currency flows and assessment of regulatory developments
- Manage stakeholder relationships with central banks, government regulators, and industry bodies across the West African Economic and Monetary Union, representing Tether at key meetings and events
- Support fintech conferences, industry events, and community engagement activities to build brand presence and advance financial inclusion initiatives in the region
- Travel frequently between Ivory Coast, other Francophone countries, and internationally as needed for partnership development and regulatory engagement
What you'll bring
- Seven to ten years of professional experience in cross-border payments, mobile money infrastructure, or settlement systems, with banking or telecommunications background preferred
- Deep familiarity with Francophone markets, regulatory frameworks, and business practices across blockchain, fintech, payments, remittances, and finance
- Established relationships within BCEAO and central banking networks across the WAEMU region
- Fluency in English and French (native French preferred) and a degree in Business, Management, or Finance
- Proven track record building and managing strategic partnerships, with strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving abilities, and demonstrated experience monitoring KPIs and driving business growth
- Entrepreneurial mindset with project management expertise and comfort operating independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
