About the role
Ripple is transforming how value moves across the globe through blockchain and digital asset technology. The company partners with financial institutions, businesses, and governments to modernize the financial system and create broader economic opportunity. You'll be joining a team of experienced builders working on problems that matter at scale.
The Digital Assets team is creating something new: a treasury platform that combines traditional enterprise capabilities with modern digital asset functionality. Right now, corporate treasury teams face an impossible choice between legacy platforms that don't support digital assets and crypto-native tools missing essential enterprise features. You'll lead the engineering effort to solve this by integrating Ripple's digital asset stack—XRP, RLUSD, tokenized assets, custody, and cross-border settlement—directly into Ripple Treasury.
This is a genuine greenfield project. You'll build a small, focused team of up to four full-stack .NET developers, working alongside a senior infrastructure engineer and product lead. The direction evolves as you discover what works. There's no industry playbook here, and you'll help define how digital assets fit into corporate treasury workflows.
What you'll do
- Manage engineering for digital asset integration, designing systems that connect Ripple's blockchain capabilities with Treasury's enterprise platform
- Build and lead a team of up to four full-stack .NET developers, handling recruiting, mentoring, and hands-on coding
- Ship software continuously using Kanban; present work frequently, iterate rapidly, and adapt based on feedback
- Collaborate with Ripple's core digital assets team to understand protocol capabilities and roadmap
- Design full-stack solutions with .NET backends and Angular or React frontends, built for enterprise security and auditability
- Make sound engineering calls with incomplete information and pivot quickly when needed
- Work with product, compliance, and treasury experts to turn requirements into features for Fortune 500 finance leaders
- Establish engineering practices—coding standards, code review, testing, deployment patterns—for a fast-moving team
What you'll bring
- 7+ years as a software engineer with strong full-stack experience in .NET and modern frontend frameworks
- 2+ years leading engineering teams, including hiring and developer growth
- Track record shipping in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where requirements shift
- Production experience in fintech, digital assets, or blockchain—you've built systems handling real financial or digital asset transactions
- Comfort pioneering new approaches when there's no existing playbook
- Strong cross-functional communication; you work well with product, compliance, and other engineering teams
- Hands-on leadership: you write production code alongside your team, especially early on
Nice to have
- Deep knowledge of blockchain protocols, digital asset custody, tokenization, or settlement systems
- Experience with XRP Ledger, RLUSD, or Ripple's ecosystem
- Background in corporate treasury or treasury management systems
- Experience connecting traditional financial infrastructure with digital asset platforms
What we offer
- Annual base salary of 200,000 to 250,000 USD (New York role), plus equity and bonus eligibility
- Flexible in-office arrangement; you and your team decide which 10+ days monthly to collaborate on-site
- Professional development budget and learning opportunities in emerging technologies
- Comprehensive health coverage, retirement benefits, and family support
- Team offsites, bonding activities, and regular all-company meetings with leadership
