Senior Product Manager

You'll own the product strategy for Helius's entire data platform. That spans LaserStream (real-time streaming), historical and archival data, RPC infrastructure, APIs, webhooks, and developer tools. Your customers are engineers at trading firms, wallets, and data platforms - people who care deeply about latency, delivery guarantees, and how intuitive your APIs are to work with.

Here's what the role looks like day-to-day

• Own the roadmap for the developer platform, weighing customer needs against infrastructure investments and new product opportunities
• Spend significant time with customers - trading firms, wallets, indexers - understanding their architectures and where Helius fits or falls short
• Write code yourself: prototypes, example integrations, bug reproductions, and tooling improvements. You won't build production systems, but you need hands-on familiarity with what it feels like to use these products
• Monitor competitive vendors and streaming providers, turning market insights into positioning, pricing, and build/kill decisions
• Define product guarantees around delivery semantics, ordering, and SLAs - the hard trade-offs between performance, cost, and ease of use
• Create specs and decision memos that give staff engineers clear direction without dictating implementation
• Manage pricing and packaging across usage-based models and enterprise deals
• Lead launches end-to-end: positioning, docs, migration guides, and sensitive communications around pricing or billing changes
• Track adoption, activation, churn, latency, reliability SLOs, and revenue
• Design the lightweight product processes a remote senior team actually needs

You bring at least five years shipping technical, developer-facing products - whether streaming systems, data infrastructure, APIs, or market data platforms. You code regularly and can prototype, integrate, and debug without waiting on engineers. You understand distributed systems trade-offs, throughput, backpressure, and delivery guarantees well enough to debate staff engineers.

You have meaningful crypto experience - you've built on blockchain, worked on ecosystem products, or understand on-chain data, wallets, and transactions deeply. You've served demanding technical customers at trading firms or fintech companies and proven you can turn their feedback into prioritized product decisions. You own outcomes: adoption numbers, revenue, retention - things you can actually speak to.

Your pricing instincts are sharp for usage-based infrastructure. Your written communication is exceptional because this is a remote, async-heavy environment where your specs, memos, and customer communications need to work on their own. You're comfortable operating with high autonomy.

Nice to have: Prior software engineering experience or a track record of shipping code as a PM. Direct work with real-time market data, event streaming (Kafka, gRPC, WebSockets at scale), or exchange infrastructure. Solana-specific experience - having built on it or worked with its data model and RPC layer. Background as an early, founding, or lead PM at an infrastructure or devtools company.
