ElevenMusic is a consumer-focused music application where music is the core product—a place to listen, create, remix and share. The team operates as a small, independent unit with rapid deployment cycles where features often ship the same or next day. Currently, a single engineer maintains the entire iOS application, and the company is seeking a Mobile Engineer to expand this capability across both platforms.

What you'll do

• Own and develop ElevenMusic across iOS and Android platforms, taking full responsibility for the mobile experience
• Design and ship mobile-first features rather than treating mobile as a secondary port of web functionality
• Build systems that work seamlessly across both iOS and Android while maintaining high standards for user experience
• Make autonomous decisions on product direction and technical implementation with minimal oversight
• Work closely with musicians and creative users to understand their needs and deliver intuitive experiences
• Collaborate with backend systems while maintaining deep expertise in mobile architecture and patterns

What you'll bring

• Proven track record of shipping well-designed production mobile applications that users genuinely value and engage with
• Strong systems thinking that spans mobile applications and backend infrastructure
• Proficiency working across iOS and Android with modern frameworks like Swift UI or Kotlin Jetpack Compose
• Exceptional product intuition and clear perspective on what defines a great mobile experience
• High degree of self-direction and ownership—the ability to translate high-level guidance into shipped work
• Demonstrated ability to work with autonomy while maintaining a strong sense of quality and taste

• Background in music, musical production, or demonstrated musical interest
• Open-source contributions or notable GitHub projects
