Manager, International Cloud Sourcing

Together AI is building the AI Native Cloud platform designed specifically for AI engineers, handling everything from high-performance inference to fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, and massive-scale pretraining. The company serves 400+ trillion tokens monthly for customers including Cursor, Decagon, ElevenLabs, Salesforce, and Zoom. Together is seeking a Manager for International Cloud Sourcing to join the Infra Strategy team and own the commercial strategy behind the company's rapidly expanding global GPU fleet.

Together AI has established itself as a critical infrastructure provider in the AI ecosystem, combining open model marketplaces with enterprise-grade compute capabilities. The role sits at the intersection of infrastructure scaling, financial optimization, and vendor strategy—directly impacting the company's ability to grow internationally while maintaining economics.

You'll manage the full lifecycle of international cloud service provider contracts, from initial sourcing and RFP processes through execution and renewal. You'll partner with infrastructure engineering to translate technical specifications into commercial terms, coordinate vendor evaluations, and build relationships with compute suppliers across new international markets. Beyond day-to-day contracting, you'll develop market intelligence on GPU pricing, supply availability, and the evolving vendor landscape globally. Your analytical work will include building pricing benchmarks and financial models that inform sourcing decisions and drive FinOps principles like cost allocation and commitment strategy across the fleet.

You'll also own vendor performance management through structured quarterly reviews and establish negotiation strategies that improve cost position as Together scales. Part of the role involves tracking country-level factors—power availability, regulatory requirements, data residency, currency, and tax implications—that shape capacity decisions.

You bring 5+ years in cloud sourcing, strategic sourcing, or infrastructure commercial roles, ideally with exposure to GPU or high-performance compute. You have a track record negotiating multi-million dollar cloud or infrastructure contracts, including with international suppliers outside the US. Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure—GPU configurations, networking, cluster architecture—is essential, as is the ability to translate technical requirements into commercial terms. You're analytically strong, comfortable building pricing models and financial analyses. You communicate well across engineering, finance, and vendor executives, including international partners, and you're available for calls outside standard US hours. You understand FinOps principles and can apply them to drive measurable cost efficiency.

Nice to have: Direct experience in GPU or AI compute sourcing, familiarity with the AI infrastructure vendor ecosystem and supply dynamics outside the US, experience building sourcing processes from scratch, or knowledge of data center economics including power, cooling, and site selection.
