Director, Content Strategy

The Communications team is seeking a Director of Content Strategy to own Ripple's narrative across all channels and audiences. You'll report to the VP of Corporate Marketing in this senior leadership role based in New York. This position combines strategic vision with hands-on content creation, requiring you to build and lead a team while setting editorial direction that drives brand authority and supports go-to-market efforts globally.

What you'll do

• Define and operationalize Ripple's content strategy across owned channels, establishing editorial standards, brand voice, and publishing calendars that build authority and fuel demand generation.

• Build and mentor a team of writers, social strategists, multimedia producers, and managers, maintaining high quality standards while creating an environment where people do their best work.

• Act as the central decision-maker for content prioritization across the organization, directing the team to think creatively and take strategic risks.

• Partner with Communications to develop executive thought leadership and craft announcements that reflect deep understanding of regulatory environments, macroeconomic trends, and evolving global finance.

• Translate Ripple's complex product and technical solutions into clear, compelling narratives for enterprise buyers, partners, and policymakers.

• Build a multimedia production engine overseeing video, YouTube, and social content strategies with innovative formats that maximize reach and engagement.

• Develop a scalable customer evidence library including case studies and testimonials mapped to key verticals and buyer personas.

• Work with Growth Marketing to create gated content, website copy, and nurture campaigns tied to measurable demand generation outcomes.

• Report to leadership on content's business impact, presenting analytics on narrative influence and contribution to company objectives.

What you'll bring

• 15+ years in content marketing, editorial, or content strategy within B2B technology or fintech environments.

• 8+ years building and managing teams, including people managers, with demonstrated success developing talent and maintaining high standards.

• Proven track record leading content strategy at scale across global, complex organizations with multiple audiences and channels.

• Strong editorial instincts and the ability to establish and uphold quality standards across distributed teams.

• Strategic vision combined with hands-on capability to both set long-term direction and execute when needed.

• Data literacy and clear perspective on meaningful content metrics and business outcome attribution.

• Familiarity with how AI is changing content production and marketing team operations.

• Genuine interest in understanding how technology is reshaping financial systems globally.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in fintech or financial services organizations with strong content cultures.

• Annual base salary of 196,000 to 240,000 USD in New York, plus equity and additional compensation.
