Software Engineer, Admin Experience

The Engineering team is seeking a Software Engineer to help build foundational enterprise capabilities that allow the world's largest organizations to embed Sierra into their existing systems.

What you'll do

• Design and build foundational systems for enterprise platform capabilities, including identity management, access control, integration points, and extensibility features that enable enterprises to adopt Sierra within their existing infrastructure.

• Develop solutions that help Sierra's platform scale reliably across organizations, regions, and complex use cases while maintaining high performance and operational simplicity.

• Establish strong standards for security, compliance readiness, reliability, and operational excellence across the platform, since enterprise customers rely on Sierra with their most sensitive workflows and data.

• Work with demanding enterprise environments that have strict security requirements and high expectations for uptime and performance.

What you'll bring

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience building production products and systems.

• A Computer Science degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Genuine enthusiasm for working on frontier AI products and platforms.

• Strong commitment to building reliable, maintainable, and secure systems that can scale.

• High agency and motivation to drive outcomes independently, with the ability to overcome obstacles and deliver customer impact.

• Alignment with Sierra's values, particularly balancing Craftsmanship, Customer Obsession, and competitive drive.

Nice to have

• Experience building enterprise authentication, role-based access control, identity and access management, audit logging, or compliance systems.

• Background with integrations, APIs, and complex customer environments.

• Backend-leaning full-stack experience with enterprise SaaS applications.

• Security experience in areas like authentication, permissions, data isolation, or threat modeling.
