Senior Technical Marketing Engineer

The Take Off Team at Zscaler is seeking a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer to work remotely from Poland or the USA. You will serve as a technical bridge between product engineering and field teams, driving customer success through hands-on technical enablement and complex enterprise networking demonstrations.

What you'll do

• Lead customer Proof of Value engagements and pilot evaluations with enterprise prospects, executing hands-on technical demonstrations to validate product capabilities, reduce sales friction, and accelerate deal closure

• Design, build, and maintain advanced lab environments that simulate complex enterprise branch and edge network topologies using physical and virtual infrastructure to test product behavior at scale

• Serve as the primary technical escalation resource between field teams and engineering, diagnosing and resolving critical L2/L3 networking issues, segmentation challenges, and packet-level anomalies during customer pilots

• Create production-ready technical documentation including deployment runbooks, reference architectures, white papers, and solution briefs to standardize best practices and reduce time-to-value

• Develop and deliver technical training programs, workshops, and webinars for systems engineers, professional services teams, and channel partners to build deployment expertise across enterprise environments

What you'll bring

• Five or more years of hands-on experience in technical marketing, solutions architecture, or systems engineering with deep expertise in enterprise routing, switching, TCP/IP, L2/L3 network segmentation, and tunneling protocols including WireGuard, IPsec, and VxLAN

• Proven success leading customer Proof of Value pilots and architectural evaluations within enterprise and distributed edge networking environments

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining multi-vendor lab topologies using bare-metal appliances, hypervisors such as ESXi and KVM, and network emulation platforms like EVE-NG and GNS3

• Advanced packet analysis skills using Wireshark and tcpdump to diagnose routing anomalies, latency, jitter, MTU issues, and NAT/firewall traversal challenges

• Demonstrated ability to author technical collateral and deliver enablement sessions to sales engineering, professional services, and partner teams

• Active interest in exploring and integrating AI tools into daily workflows and problem-solving approaches
