About the role
Ripple is transforming global finance by enabling value to move as seamlessly as information across borders. The company partners with financial institutions, businesses, governments and developers through innovative crypto solutions that enhance financial systems and expand economic opportunity worldwide. Operating at the intersection of technology and traditional finance, Ripple has established itself as a leader in the enterprise blockchain space, with a growing presence across multiple continents.
You'll join Ripple's Physical Security team as the Regional Security Manager covering MENA and APAC operations, reporting directly to the Head of Global Corporate Security. This is a ground-up leadership opportunity where you'll establish and run the company's regional security function across two of its fastest-expanding markets, serving as the primary security point of contact for employees, leadership, HR, Legal and Workplace teams across the region.
Your responsibilities will span several interconnected areas. You'll develop and own the regional security strategy, covering travel risk management, incident response protocols and office security standards as Ripple's footprint grows. You'll lead vendor management across security contractors, guarding providers and service partners, measuring performance and ensuring consistent delivery. Building and maintaining relationships with local law enforcement, government contacts and intelligence sources falls within your remit, strengthening early-warning capabilities and situational awareness.
You'll manage regional incident response with rapid, locally-informed decision-making and proper escalation to global leadership. Supporting regulatory compliance and audit readiness across in-region operations means ensuring Ripple's global security standards apply consistently. As the company enters new markets including Pakistan and Nigeria, you'll lay the groundwork through relationship-building, risk intelligence and vendor network development. You'll also coordinate on-the-ground support during office build-outs, security system implementations and regional projects requiring local expertise and progress reporting.
You bring at least 5+ years of progressive corporate and physical security experience covering MENA or APAC regions. You have an established network within law enforcement, government liaison, intelligence and vendor communities. Your track record includes managing incident response, travel risk and vendor relationships with successful execution. You operate with high integrity, handling confidential matters with sound judgment. You're comfortable building functions from scratch and working autonomously across time zones while maintaining strong communication discipline with global leadership.
What they offer includes competitive salary, bonuses and equity. You'll receive comprehensive benefits covering physical and mental healthcare, retirement, family forming and family support, plus an employee giving match and mobile phone stipend. The company offers generous vacation policies, industry-leading parental leave, R&R days for recharging, wellness reimbursement and weekly programming. In-office collaboration is valued, with flexibility to work 10+ days monthly from the Singapore office as your team decides.
