Growth Marketing

Abridge · SF Office (Hybrid) · Full-time
$200K–220K / year

About the role

Abridge is a healthcare AI company founded in 2018 that uses generative AI to transform patient-clinician conversations into structured clinical notes in real time. The platform integrates deeply with electronic medical records systems and helps healthcare providers document patient interactions more efficiently while freeing up time for direct patient care. With offices in San Francisco, New York, and Pittsburgh, Abridge is a growing team of physicians, AI scientists, engineers, and creatives working to improve how healthcare delivery works.

The Commercial team at Abridge is looking for a Growth Marketer to build and lead the company's product-led growth strategy. In this senior individual contributor role, you'll own the engine that converts clinicians who discover Abridge into regular users and drives expansion within health systems. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, setting the direction for how the company acquires, activates, and retains end users while coaching others across the marketing organization.

What you'll do

  • Define and execute the product-led growth roadmap by translating company objectives into a prioritized strategy for end-user acquisition, activation, engagement, and expansion, working closely with Product, Data, and Sales teams.
  • Own the clinician journey from initial awareness through habitual product use, identifying friction points and building programs like onboarding flows, in-product prompts, lifecycle email campaigns, and referral mechanics to move users forward.
  • Design and run a high-velocity experimentation program with clear hypothesis backlogs, testing standards, and reporting cadences, shipping tests across web, product surfaces, paid channels, and lifecycle campaigns.
  • Lead all paid marketing activity including paid social, Google, programmatic, and out-of-home advertising, owning budget allocation, platform and agency partnerships, and campaign optimization against adoption and pipeline metrics.
  • Connect bottom-up user adoption to enterprise sales pipeline by partnering with Sales and RevOps to identify product-qualified signals, route them appropriately, and demonstrate how usage drives expansion revenue.
  • Establish measurement and attribution frameworks for product-led growth in partnership with Data Science and marketing technology teams, defining key activation and retention metrics and building dashboards for team decision-making.
  • Mentor the broader marketing team on experimentation methodology, funnel analysis, and channel strategy, setting growth standards and pressure-testing plans across demand generation, lifecycle, and campaign functions.

What you'll bring

  • At least 10 years of growth marketing experience with a minimum of 4 years owning product-led growth at a high-growth software company; background in AI companies preferred.
  • Demonstrated success moving activation, conversion, or retention metrics at scale with the analytical skills to model funnel economics and justify resource allocation.
  • Deep hands-on expertise running paid campaigns across paid social, search, programmatic, and out-of-home channels, including budget ownership and return measurement.
  • Strong understanding of B2C acquisition and activation tactics applied within B2B contexts, knowing how to reach and engage end users and translate their adoption into enterprise opportunity.
  • Comfort building internal tools and workflows using AI, with a habit of leveraging AI to increase work velocity and quality.
  • Low ego and high standards, bringing directness and collaboration with a focus on outcomes rather than individual recognition.

Nice to have

  • Experience building or scaling product-led growth strategies in healthcare or selling to clinicians and other professional users.
  • Track record launching a self-serve or freemium motion from inception to scale.
  • Hands-on experience designing and growing referral, community, or word-of-mouth programs that expanded user bases efficiently.

What they offer

  • Hybrid work arrangement requiring a minimum of three days per week in the San Francisco or New York office.
  • Opportunity to work on mission-driven healthcare technology processing millions of medical conversations monthly.
  • Fast-paced startup environment where individual contributions create measurable impact on healthcare delivery.
