The platform provides a suite of developer APIs enabling faster and better-priced trading across applications like Matcha, Coinbase Wallet, Robinhood Wallet, Phantom, Rainbow, MetaMask, and others. Backed by investors including Greylock Partners, Pantera Capital, and Jump Crypto, 0x brings together experienced crypto builders committed to code quality and continuous learning.

0x is at a pivotal growth phase and seeking a Head of Marketing to lead the company's next chapter. You'll report to the founder and CEO, joining the leadership team and overseeing marketing strategy for both 0x's API offerings and Matcha, the consumer DEX aggregator. You'll own the narrative and positioning for both brands, building on existing strength within crypto communities while expanding 0x APIs into fintech, enterprise, and institutional markets.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute marketing strategy for 0x APIs and Matcha, establishing long-term plans tied to company objectives, API adoption targets, and consumer growth initiatives.

• Shape positioning and messaging for both products, defining ideal customer profiles, deepening reach among crypto-native teams, and articulating 0x APIs' value to institutional audiences.

• Direct brand evolution, creative direction, and website strategy to maintain distinctive, consistent presence across all channels.

• Identify and execute high-impact marketing programs tailored to each product and audience segment.

• Collaborate with Sales to generate qualified demand, align marketing efforts with revenue goals, and provide competitive tools and materials for customer acquisition.

• Lead and mentor the marketing team, establish clear priorities and accountability, implement process improvements using AI tools, coach experienced marketers, and shield the team from competing demands.

• Contribute hands-on work in positioning, launch strategy, campaigns, and content creation to boost team output and fill capacity gaps.

• Manage marketing budget and performance, monitoring spend and ROI while demonstrating marketing's contribution to company revenue.

• Leverage data analytics platforms like Dune and DefiLlama alongside internal metrics to track market trends, competitive landscape, and product adoption patterns.

What you'll bring

• Eight or more years of marketing experience with at least three years leading a marketing function.

• Track record setting company-wide marketing strategy across multiple product lines with distinct positioning for different audiences.

• Background marketing technical B2B products, particularly APIs or infrastructure, alongside consumer-facing products.

• Deep knowledge of crypto gained through hands-on experience at a crypto company, active participation in DeFi, and understanding of DEXs, aggregators, liquidity providers, and how infrastructure like 0x adds value.

• Demonstrated ability to build repeatable marketing programs that generated measurable business results.

• Experience leading senior-level marketers in a player-coach capacity and unifying diverse teams around shared goals.

• Background at a DEX, DEX aggregator, or onchain trading infrastructure company.
