Delivery Solutions Architect

As a Delivery Solutions Architect at Databricks, you will bridge technical and commercial excellence for the company's most strategic customers. Operating from offices in Brisbane, London, Paris, Amsterdam and nine other locations, you will drive adoption and value realization of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform by leading post-sale technical strategy, managing complex customer programs, and ensuring your assigned accounts maximize their return on investment.

What you'll do

• Own technical account strategy and execution for priority use cases across Databricks' largest and most complex customers, serving as the primary technical leader accountable for moving workloads from sale through onboarding, enablement, go-live and healthy consumption

• Serve as first point of contact for technical issues and production status questions related to agreed-upon use cases within your accounts, often managing multiple concurrent initiatives across large organizations

• Develop and execute comprehensive delivery plans covering use case acceleration to production, enablement and user growth, product adoption strategy, cost optimization, and executive governance

• Coordinate with Professional Services on delivery proposals and navigate product engineering teams to access new innovations, private previews and upgrade requirements

• Lead discovery workshops, create strategic technical roadmaps, conduct business analysis and manage delivery of complex programs by leveraging cross-functional teams including Solutions Architects, Shared Services, User Education, Technical Services and Support

• Provide internal and external KPI reporting on usage, customer health, investment status, adoption and use case progression to your Technical General Manager

What you'll bring

• At least five years delivering technical projects or programs within Data and AI domains, with ability to contribute meaningfully to technical design discussions with customers

• Hands-on programming experience in Python, SQL or Scala

• Background in customer-facing roles such as pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success or consulting

• Strong understanding of distributed data systems solution architecture and how to connect business outcomes to specific project deliverables

• Demonstrated expertise in technical program and project management with accountability for stakeholder, account and resource oversight

• Proven ability to navigate and resolve complex escalations with senior customer executives

• Track record of exceeding quota, goals or similar performance targets

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent professional experience
