About the role
Orca is a blockchain infrastructure company building regulated financial primitives on-chain with the compliance and liquidity layers needed to make them work at scale. The company is expanding into new product verticals with the goal of fundamentally reshaping how finance operates. As a Community Support Associate based in Asia, you'll be the frontline representative for Orca's users, handling inquiries, solving technical problems, and building a thriving community across the platform.
You'll spend your days responding to user questions through Discord and MetaCRM, troubleshooting technical issues, and escalating problems that need specialist attention. You'll identify and provide elevated support to VIP users, route partnership inquiries to the business development team, and help keep community spaces safe and aligned with Orca's values. Beyond reactive support, you'll create onboarding materials like guides and FAQs, run workshops and AMAs, and gather user feedback to feed into product improvements. You'll also monitor what's happening across the broader crypto ecosystem and flag relevant trends back to the team, while collaborating with Marketing and Product on initiatives that grow engagement.
To succeed here you need solid knowledge of crypto and blockchain, especially SVM chains, AMMs, and ideally CLMMs. You should have prior experience in customer support or community management. Fluent English, both written and spoken, is essential. Problem-solving comes naturally to you, and you can stay calm, friendly, and empathetic even when things get stressful. You're comfortable with Discord, Telegram, Twitter, Reddit, and other community platforms.
What We Offer
Salary of 10,000 to 20,000 USDC annually plus a token allocation of 5,000 to 10,000 ORCA vesting over four years. You'll get a flexible work schedule, home office stipend, wellness stipend, and paid subscriptions to productivity tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT. The hiring process is intentionally short and direct: a 20-minute initial screen, a 60-minute conversation with your hiring manager, and a final 60-minute round with the business development team.
