AI Response Analyst

iMerit Technology, part of the EXL family, is seeking thoughtful analysts to evaluate AI-generated responses about images. You'll assess how well these responses match the visual content and user instructions, then document your reasoning in writing.

The core of this work is straightforward: examine an image, read what the AI model said about it, and determine whether the description is accurate. You'll do this across multiple dimensions.

What you'll do

• Review images paired with written prompts and AI responses to evaluate alignment between visual content and generated text

• Assess responses across several criteria including accuracy, relevance, clarity, conciseness, safety considerations, and adherence to instructions

• Compare multiple responses to the same image and rank them against established standards

• Verify that factual claims made about images actually reflect what's depicted

• Use approved research sources to fact-check statements when needed

• Identify tasks that lack sufficient clarity or context for reliable evaluation

• Write detailed explanations supporting every ranking decision you submit

What you bring

• Strong visual literacy and attention to detail, with the discipline to review carefully more than once

• Analytical thinking, research capability, and solid reading comprehension

• Good judgment supported by clear reasoning

• Proficient written English with the ability to describe visual elements with precision and specificity

• The ability to apply complex guidelines consistently across numerous tasks

• Prior experience in image annotation, content moderation, copy editing, research, design, or localization is valuable but not required
