The Enterprise AI Engineering team at Turing is building mission-critical applications that serve asset management clients and other enterprise partners. You will join a group focused on delivering production software that powers complex financial workflows and business operations at scale.

What you'll do

• Design and deliver full-stack production features using Python backends and React frontends, taking ownership of complex technical decisions from requirements through deployment
• Build and maintain Python backend applications, services, and APIs that support enterprise workflows
• Develop responsive and maintainable web interfaces with React, ensuring quality user experiences
• Implement integrations across APIs, relational databases, and enterprise systems to connect disparate platforms
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, identify dependencies, and drive delivery through testing, release, and production support
• Investigate production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and maintain reliable systems in operation
• Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain technical documentation to ensure code quality, security, and correctness
• Use AI-enhanced development tools such as Claude and Codex throughout design, implementation, testing, debugging, and code review

What you'll bring

• Five or more years of professional software engineering experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering production full-stack applications
• Hands-on expertise building backend applications, services, and APIs with Python
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining production web interfaces with React
• Strong foundation in enterprise application fundamentals including authentication, application design, testing, deployment, SQL, data modeling, and relational databases
• Experience integrating applications with APIs and enterprise systems, deploying on cloud platforms, and supporting production systems
• Practical experience using Claude, Codex, or similar AI development tools with the judgment to evaluate AI-generated code and maintain ownership of quality and security
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
• Independent judgment to evaluate trade-offs, diagnose complex problems, and move work forward with minimal direction

Nice to have

• Experience building and testing AI agents that combine large language models with tools or APIs for multi-step workflows
• Experience evaluating agent outputs and handling failure scenarios
• Background building software for financial technology, asset management, or other enterprise environments
• Demonstrated interest in fintech and solving complex engineering challenges
