You'll own significant portions of PayBox, MoonPay's newest product that lets people transact directly through AI agents without exposing credentials. The product launched recently with strong early momentum, and now multiple major tracks are ramping: expanding across AI platforms, building peer-to-peer experiences, integrating with DeFi apps, growing a plugin ecosystem and refining the complete user journey. This isn't a traditional staff role—it's closer to a founding engineer position where you identify what matters and drive features from concept through production.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end areas of PayBox, defining problems, designing approaches and shipping to production
• Build new payment and peer-to-peer transfer experiences optimized for AI interfaces
• Create integrations across AI platforms, applications and the wider PayBox ecosystem
• Develop infrastructure and product experiences to onboard new applications and integrations
• Partner with Product to transform ambitious ideas into simple, usable features
• Address friction points in onboarding and overall user experience through detailed attention
• Move fluidly across the product and technical stack toward whatever problem drives the most impact
• Reason from first principles on difficult technical and product challenges with incomplete information
