This Lead IT Engineer role supports Bybit's European operations from the Vienna headquarters. You will oversee IT desktop operations, infrastructure maintenance, and technical support across the region while contributing to global systems and processes.
What you'll do
- Manage EU and global IT desktop operations including OS installation, configuration, user access management, data backup and recovery, and firmware upgrades for network devices
- Respond to end-user technical inquiries and administer the IT ticketing system, producing periodic summaries and analysis reports
- Configure, monitor and maintain office network infrastructure including routers, switches and wireless access points, troubleshooting connectivity issues and optimizing performance
- Participate in planning and implementation of new office network deployments and structural adjustments across EU locations
- Monitor core business systems, respond to alerts during shifts, and support cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability scanning, firewall policy maintenance and incident response
- Track and maintain IT assets across EU and global operations
- Lead IT projects alongside the team leader, managing implementation phases including user acceptance testing and training
What you'll bring
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent qualification
- At least three years of IT operations experience with Level 1 or Level 2 end-user support background
- Hands-on experience with Mac and Windows laptop operation and maintenance
- Working knowledge of Google Suite and standard office applications
- Demonstrated project implementation and management experience
- Strong learning ability, communication skills and independent problem-solving capability
- Remote support services experience
- Ability to multitask and thrive in fast-paced environments
- Fluency in German and English (mandatory)
